From starting out with her subcontractor Dad to holding executive roles with major industry leaders, Thea has become a powerhouse in credit management and cashflow optimization. Her strategic leadership and ability to build high performing teams have earned her a stellar reputation. Beyond her roles in finance, Thea is a committed mentor, an engaging industry speaker, and writes the wildly popular Credit Q&A for LBM Journal, along with numerous other publications. She has spent her entire career in the construction and building materials industry. Building on her understanding of contractor credit, she quickly moved into credit management roles with Roofing Supply, Louis and Company, and West-Mar. She then spent 16 years with Guardian Building Products, developing many of their credit programs and running the financial services department, before moving to SRS Distribution. Thea is now following her passion for educating and leading the next generation of credit overlords. She has developed a credit masterclass for Levelset and her first book, The Credit Overlords Guide to Credit and Collections.
